Mikhail S. announced on LinkedIn today that he has started a new role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at GTCFX. On a LinkedIn post he shared: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)!”

The latest appointment follows the approval of GTCFX’s membership application, confirming the company as a Member of the Financial Commission. GTCFX, an online brokerage, offering products such as precious metals, spot forex, and indices. It serves over 985,000 clients across more than 100 countries.

From Sales to Regional Development

Prior to this, Mikhail spent over 13 years at Alpari in various leadership positions. His most recent role was Senior Vice President of Regional Development from late 2021 to early 2025, where he managed business operations across multiple regions and oversaw commercial strategy.

Before that, he served as Head of Global Sales, leading the implementation of a CRM system and enhancing client engagement. Earlier, he was Head of VIP Clients Support, responsible for developing loyalty programs and managing VIP customer service.

GTCFX Expands to Thailand with New Local Office and Country Manager

Meanwhile, GTCFX has expanded its global presence by opening a new office in Thailand, increasing its locations to 17. Mei Nongbua has been appointed as Country Manager to lead operations in the region. The company confirmed this expansion in a LinkedIn announcement and to Finance Magnates via Suha Abdulkarim Habab, Director of Business Development.

Nongbua brings over twelve years of fintech experience in Asian markets, having worked with companies like NAGA. Her responsibilities include managing partnerships, client relations, and marketing efforts to support the GTC brand.

Thailand is becoming an important market for trading firms, with regulatory developments around cryptocurrency and active local participation in leveraged trading.

GTCFX holds licenses in multiple regions, including Australia’s ASIC, Dubai’s SCA, and South Africa’s FSC. Recently, the company appointed Sarah Hall as General Manager of its Cyprus office and partnered with Acuity Trading to add market research tools to its platform.
