That's a surprise beat as investor sentiment showed an upturn in Germany notably for June. The sentiment index for Germany might still be negative at -5.9 but that's the highest reading since March 2022. All in all, it points to the initial shock from Trump tariffs slowly subsiding as the expectations index also improved. That moved up from 14.3 points in June, up by 10.5 points compared to the month before.
